Song of Nunu delivers an entertaining combination of puzzles and combat. A world full of easter eggs for people who love and play League of Legends and a good entry point for people who want to dive in into the world of League of Legends. To sum it up, Blasphemous II is a great title and sequel. While it might not be as long as the previous title, there is still so much room for expansion DLCs for later, similar to what they did with the previous title.

Overall, Souldiers is a unique title that honors old-school tough-as-nails platformers while offering something familiar to contemporary RPG enthusiasts. I wish I knew that going in but I suppose It all worked out well in the end. I ended up liking the game for completely different reasons. And hopefully, other players can give this title a try too. Maybe once the balancing issues have been sorted out.

From its story to its platforming, Arise is simple in many ways and is not afraid to try new things with its mechanics. While its platforming makes things more difficult than it needs to be at times, it is the journey through the narrative that matters the most. If you’re up for a simple yet satisfying journey that tugs at your heartstrings, Arise will do just that.

The story is a captivating mystery romance, in which Lovecraftian twists and turns keep you more than engaged. Fantastic world building and stellar voice acting allow it to stand out amongst other puzzle games, but clunky mechanics and overly complex puzzles prevent it from being a truly great experience.

The first time I heard about this game, I sort of expected something completely over the top. Then when I found out that it was set in Egypt, I was thinking of Serious Sam and the like.

Overall this isn’t a perfect game but there are tiny and intricate details that I really find unique and whimsical. I like the fact that you are able to zoom out of the planet and do a full rotation. This is quite helpful in mushroom hunting and this also helps in strategically landing meteorites that will help you collect Crystals and foreign seeds. I liked looking at my planet from this view because I can see the progress that I am making. The fauna and trees scattered about to look like pimples on someone’s face but not gross at all. I loved the fact that there is a night/day cycle, weather changes that you can take advantage of an unlimited inventory storage. Definitely not for everyone, but players that need a casual, calm, take-your-time gameplay then this is absolutely for you.

When I started, however, I didn’t have initial expectations; it was my interest in its art style that drew me. I still loved everything about it, I still feel connected to the characters I played, the simple storyline, the amazing music, humor, and the shout-outs to 80s pop culture (Guys, I found Master Splinter and the Turtles’ pizza-stacked hideout). In other words, play Crossing Souls just for a good time, but don’t expect something grandiose. It’s simple, quick, but it’s fun.
