Uptake is a game of exploration and adventure in which you will control a Gecko named Kresko with which you will be able to explore a jungle full of ruins. 

The core mechanic of Uptake is the adaptation to the environment, that is to say, Kresko will be able to adapt and transform into things that he finds in the environment. Thanks to these adaptations, he will be able to do some things or others. 

At first glance we can see that the game has a rather cheerful aesthetic and bright colors. In comparison, the message and the indirect narrative that we want to convey is somewhat more serious, so that combination of joy and seriousness, gives us a very interesting and enjoyable result.
