Tiny Lands 2 offers a delightful ‘spot the difference’ experience that’s relaxing, addictive, and lovely to look at. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing it with my six-year-old daughter who has quickly labelled it her ‘new favourite game’, but do you know what? I think I actually enjoyed it even more than she did. If you’ve got a keen eye and love a bit of ‘spot the difference’, you really do need Tiny Lands 2 in your life.

Crisol: Theater of Idols

Crisol: Theater of Idols is an engrossing, if slightly unpolished, horror experience that offers a world that is dripping in atmosphere and a combat loop that keeps you on your toes. It might not always terrify you in the way it intends to - especially where Dolores is concerned - but between the grotesque enemy designs and the constant tension of the Blood Bullet mechanic, there is plenty here to enjoy.
If you’re a fan of survival horror (and don’t mind a little bit of indie jank), this trip to Tormentosa is well worth the low price of admission.

NBA Bounce is a fun, colourful, and accessible basketball game that’s perfect for younger players or those looking for some multiplayer mayhem. Its simple controls and chaotic Party Mode make it a joy in multiplayer, and whilst it doesn’t have online play or an in-depth solo experience, playing with friends is ALWAYS a blast.
The only real downside (and it’s a pretty big one) is the high price, which feels a bit steep for what’s on offer. But if you’ve got a fat wallet (or catch it at a discount), it’s well worth picking up for some light-hearted basketball fun.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a slick and satisfying return to the series’ 2D roots, capturing everything that made the classics so beloved while layering in just enough modern flair to keep things fresh. Its blend of fluid combat, clever dual-character mechanics, inventive stage variety, and additional challenges make for an experience that’ll certainly keep players coming back for more.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or completely new to the series, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a thrilling reminder that Ninja Gaiden still knows how to deliver razor‑sharp action across both a 3D AND 2D plane.

Luto is a gripping and refreshingly bold take on psychological horror, blending clever environmental puzzles with a narrative that’s as unpredictable as it is emotionally resonant. Its looping design, oppressive atmosphere, and unsettling narration come together to create a game that constantly keeps you questioning what’s real and what isn’t, and whilst it is a relatively short experience, it’s one that’s packed with moments that feel both inventive and deeply haunting. For fans of horror that values atmosphere and ingenuity over cheap scares, Luto is a must-play, though be warned: it’s an experience that will linger in your mind long after you’ve escaped its twisting corridors.

Blades of Fire may not revolutionize the genre, but it brings enough quality, originality and heart to stand out in a crowded field. Its approach to crafting is genuinely engaging, its world is refreshing to explore, and the relationship between its two leads adds emotional depth to tale. Combat isn’t flawless, but when it clicks, it’s rewarding, tense, and complements the satisfying weapon crafting mechanics.

Post Trauma may stumble when it comes to storytelling and combat, but its eerie atmosphere, enjoyable puzzling, and old-school charm keep it compelling. For fans of classic survival horror, it’s a flawed but fascinating throwback that knows exactly what it wants to be, with its clever puzzles, unsettling world, and traditional fixed-camera presentation certainly evoking memories of some of my favourite survival horror experiences from my younger years. Add to that the low price-point and it’s definitely worth taking a look at if you’re eager for that classic survival horror buzz.

Among Ashes succeeds as a refreshing take on the horror genre, delivering a unique mix of psychological tension and nostalgic homage that’s a lot of fun to experience. Its crafty ‘game within a game’ structure is effectively implemented to make for some genuinely clever puzzling and storytelling, whilst the throwbacks to the 2000s (and especially MSN Messenger) kept a smile on my face when playing. And sure, it does have some small setbacks with the clumsy combat, but it still manages to offer a satisfying horror experience that’s unique, enjoyable, and – most importantly – genuinely scary.

Ereban: Shadow Legacy is an enjoyable stealth-adventure that has enough interesting ideas to ensure it’ll keep fans of the genre entertained. Don’t get me wrong, it has its problems – especially with the iffy enemy AI and some of its technical issues – but I’d still say my experience with it was positive, even if it falls short when compared to some of the greats of the genre.

I loved American Arcadia, with the zany narrative and clever blend of 2.5D platforming and first-person puzzling making for a unique and memorable experience. There are plenty of twists in the comical narrative to keep players wholly invested in Trevor and Angela’s plight, whilst you’re constantly put into creative scenarios that’ll test both your platforming and puzzling skills. You’ve got to be on the ball if you want to succeed in your journey, and whilst there were a few puzzles that fell short of the mark, I found it hard to put the controller down when playing.

Blasphemous 2 is absolutely brilliant, with the game maintaining the core mechanics that made its predecessor so good whilst evolving upon the combat in a deep and strategic way. Alternating between weapons always feels satisfying, whether that’s when strategically switching up when facing off against a hulking enemy or utilising their unique traversal methods, whilst simply exploring the beautiful yet haunting world and discovering all of its secrets is just as tantalising as before.

Bleak Sword DX might keep things simple with its combat and visual style, but it makes for an engrossing experience that’s a ton of fun to play. I loved the gameplay loop of progressing between levels, levelling up, and dealing with every new threat the game sent my way, whilst the more challenging moments (and many deaths) never feel like a massive deterrent thanks to the game’s bite-size level setup. And sure, it can be rough losing your items and experience points, but with players getting a shot at redemption, it never feels unfair.

Death or Treat has a charming Halloween vibe, but its repetitive gameplay mechanics and awkward loot system do make it hard to recommend when compared to other roguelites. It’s not that anything is bad at all, but rather that it lacks to depth and creativity to keep players hooked in for long – especially with its tiring emphasis on gathering randomised loot. It just doesn’t do anything I haven’t seen done much better in other roguelite titles.

Hunt the Night has a few flaws, but they didn’t stop me from enjoying this dark and challenging action-packed romp. The combat is exciting and strategic, the world design is gorgeous and offers plenty to discover, whilst the clear Bloodborne-inspired vibe ticked plenty of the right boxes for me. Hunt the Night really has a lot going for it, and whilst the difficulty can be a little brutal at times, it never stopped me from enjoying my journey across the dangerous land of Melhram.

Disney Speedstorm isn’t only a ton of fun to play, but offers brilliant fan service with the love and care it has put into embracing the Disney magic. Everything is oozing with charm, whether it’s with the robust roster of fan favourites, the whimsical tracks you race across, or the wonderful melodies of familiar tunes that play as you race. Oh, and of course, the racing itself is a real treat too, with the game embracing typical karting-gameplay whilst introducing a few cool ideas of its own.

As a game for kids, Peppa Pig: World Adventures is a wonderful experience that offers plenty of fun things to do and plenty of cute things to see. Everything about the game is simple, but it’s varied enough in design to keep kids entertained for hours on end. My daughter and I have beaten the game twice already, and even now she’s ready to make another little family and go again. What more could you want?

With its clever puzzle design and stunning visuals, Call of the Sea stands out as one of the more impressive puzzle-adventures that I’ve played. I had a good time solving its strong variety of enigmas, whilst the intriguing narrative kept me invested too – especially with all of the documents and recordings you can find which flesh out the tale.
There were some overly elaborate puzzles that could break the pace of the experience and there were some minor annoyances to be found with some aspect of the game’s design, but Call of the Sea is otherwise a very entertaining experience that kept me hooked in from start to end.

Sword of the Necromancer has some neat ideas on show in its dungeon-crawling gameplay, but it felt a little bit too basic to offer that much excitement. What doesn’t help is the restricted item limit, which often made it difficult to justify reviving monsters and having them fight beside you… you know, the coolest feature of the game.

This has been a difficult review to write. Not because I don’t have anything to say about Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition, because believe me, there’s LOADS I want to talk about. I just don’t want to spoil it because all of the goodness that it offers needs to be experienced first-hand. It offers a creepy narrative that’ll keep you on edge, enjoyable puzzles and exploration, and some sweet monsters to give you the heebie-jeebies… it’s a GREAT game.

Touring Karts is an absolute blast to play and one of my favourite multiplayer experiences on PlayStation VR. It’s packed to the brim with content so you’re definitely getting plenty of bang for your buck – it’s actually a bargain at just £15.99 with potentially hundreds of hours of fun gameplay on offer across all of Touring Karts’ game modes.
It’s not perfect though and there were some technical glitches popping up during my time playing, though I haven’t encountered anything that’s completely ruined the experience for me. Still, they can be a little annoying, especially since they can occur when you’re in the middle of competing with others. Hopefully, it’s something the developers fill fix sooner rather than later…

SuperEpic is charming and fun, with the quirky industry-mocking narrative and the rewarding combat making for a Metroidvania-style adventure that’s definitely worth checking out. It does have a few issues that could do with ironing out, particularly when it comes to using the in-game map, but for the most part it’s a joyous little escapade that keeps things satisfyingly silly.

Who would have thought that a concept as simple as Reventure’s could make for such a brilliant gameplay experience? I got completely hooked to the game from the moment I started playing, with the wonder and charm of uncovering each silly outcome always bringing a smile to my face. It’s just so easy to pick up and play, whilst the addictive nature of unlocking each possible ending kept me playing for hours on end. It’s brilliant.
