Petoons Studio y Outright Games vuelven a la carga con una nueva entrega basada en las aventuras de la cerdita más conocida de la televisión. En esta ocasión, acompañaremos a Peppa Pig por una serie de países conociendo las culturas, paisajes y tradiciones de cada región. Un juego que está enfocado completamente a un público infantil, y eso se nota en la simpleza de sus controles y en la nula penalización si hacemos alguna tarea mal. Una experiencia agradable para que los niños se lo pasen bien, conozcan nuevas costumbres y se familiaricen con las ciudades más conocidas del mundo. Todo plasmado con el estilo visual tan característico de la serie y con el mismo doblaje que conocemos. ¿Ya has preparado la maleta?

On a l’impression de contrôler le dessin animé pour une première fois. Les ajouts pour les versions PS5 et Xbox Series ne représentent pas une différence notable pour la jouabilité. C’est toutefois bien de pouvoir profiter d’une résolution 4K ou de 60 images par seconde. Passez par dessus votre orgueil et jouez y en famille ! Pour le prix d’aller au cinéma, vous aurez une belle soirée (2-4h) avec votre famille.

Finn was pretty excited when I told him we had a Peppa Pig game to play, and then even more so as it was loading for the first time. When he asked me why we had it, I told him it was so we could play it to figure out if other children might like it too. He then informed me, before even pressing a button, that it was a good game. Having now actually played the game, I can confirm his opinion hasn't changed and it will definitely be something we continue to play together moving forward, especially since we still have a few more locations to check off Peppa's list.

Peppa Pig: World Adventures is a phenomenal child-friendly title that will impress your youngsters. With fun and safe gameplay, and vivid colours, this is aimed at a younger audience. However, as an adult, it was pretty annoying. Thankfully, though, the simple controls and straightforward mechanics allow your children to tackle this alone.

Peppa Pig: World Adventures is the perfect introduction to videogames for kids. It’s a point & pig adventure with simple controls and instructions, set in a world they already love. It stays true to the source material and feels like actual playable episodes. The kids love it.

As a game for kids, Peppa Pig: World Adventures is a wonderful experience that offers plenty of fun things to do and plenty of cute things to see. Everything about the game is simple, but it’s varied enough in design to keep kids entertained for hours on end. My daughter and I have beaten the game twice already, and even now she’s ready to make another little family and go again. What more could you want?

Peppa Pig: World Adventures is an easy recommendation for parents that have kids into this popular series. Its wonderful presentation will have your young ones thinking they're playing an interactive TV show featuring their favourite loveable pig family. The streamlined gameplay and greater emphasis on education this time around are both welcome pluses. It's too bad some of the original voice actors don't reprise their roles here, but the soundalikes do a decent enough job. The best part about this latest Peppa game is my son's ability to play it all on his own, which is surprisingly rare among kids' games.

Es evidente que el público juvenil es uno de los colectivos principales y este medio interactivo ha estado tradicionalmente unido a esa esfera. En la actualidad encontramos videojuegos con historias y retos de todo tipo con una amplia pluralidad de perspectivas: relatos íntimos y personales, viajes épicos a través del tiempo y el espacio, experiencias llenas de terror, etc.

Peppa Pig: Un mundo de aventuras nos trae de nuevo a la cerdita más famosa de los últimos años (con permiso de Peggy) a nuestras consolas. Este es un título que no arriesga demasiado, ya que su anterior aventura funcionó tan bien, que en esta ocasión han decidido repetir la formula aunque con unos ligeros cambios que mejoran la jugabilidad y alargan la duración. Este es sin duda un juego que van a disfrutar los más pequeños de la casa.

Peppa Pig: World Adventures once again absolutely nails the look, feel and sound of the cartoon show. It definitely is an experience primarily aimed at 3 to 5-year-olds, with simplistic gameplay and a short gaming experience. I was happy to see educational moments throughout and that developer Petoons had improved upon My Friend Peppa Pig by including more activities that use different button prompts and allowing you to skip dialogue scenes. My daughter hopes that there will be additional places to travel to through DLC, much like the Pirate Adventures DLC that came to My Friend Peppa Pig, as she wishes to set sail again and go on more world adventures with her friend Peppa Pig.

It can’t quite match up to ‘My Friend Peppa Pig’, but ‘Peppa Pig: World Adventures’ is another approachable and accessible title designed specifically for its target audience. Replicating the art style and vibe of the TV show, this game is a must play for fans of titular character. With a patch to iron out a few issues, it could be even better.

The game is clearly aimed at kids so me playing it is never going to make it a top-tier game or is it? I tell you what I have watched a lot of Peppa Pig over the years and once I got past them changing the voices in the show and then matching them here in the game it went a lot better. I can see how a young kid would have a whale of a time with the game. It uses the voices as I said and the art style so it looks and plays like an interactive episode of the show. You can hang around with Peppa and go travelling the world taking in the sights and playing with the many toys and activities. For the older gamers, it’s an absolute beauty of a quick easy Gamerscore/trophy collecting experience and for kids, it’s one of the better representations of the Pig known as Peppa. This game is a brilliant digital babysitter! (don’t do this) (or do, just don’t blame me)

A pesar de ser un juego muy corto que se puede completar en poco más de una hora, incluido su trofeo platino de PlayStation 5 (y PS4), cabe recordar que los más pequeños recorrerán más de una vez las ciudades, donde pueden encontrar en ellas recuerdos que luego podrán colocar en la casa donde residen con su familia de cerditos.

SI tenéis a algún peque en casa no dudéis y jugad juntos a Peppa Pig: World Adventures ya que es 100% recomendable para ellos a pesar del nulo desafío que supone.

Is Peppa Pig: World Adventures better than Peppa’s first game? Yes and no. Its young fan base will undoubtedly lap up another opportunity to star alongside Peppa in their very own episode, and its character creator is better than ever by letting kids create their own families this time, too. There’s also way more content, and the worldwide locations are bound to delight and inspire. If your little one is a Peppa Pig fan, they will love it. But as adults, we simply wish there was more educational value here.

But while World Adventures feels like a step up from My Friend Peppa Pig in a number of ways, it also feels like it was rushed out the door a little too quickly. We ran into more than a handful of serious bugs with our pre-release version, and even upon launch (after a patch) a number of these issues persist. Some are visual in nature, and in other cases the wrong responses were being triggered. We were surprised, as Outright’s games are usually well polished and rarely need post-launch updates to be enjoyed.

Peppa Pig: World Adventures is a simple and charming game that captures the feel of the popular TV show. Aimed at young fans, it offers fun and educational activities like bike riding and cooking. However, the technical performance is disappointing, and it may not be engaging enough for older players.

Booting up Peppa Pig: World Adventures on launch day today, a substantial day-one patch has addressed a few of the glaring issues. But there are still wonkinesses here, particularly in the transitions between scenes. Peppa’s still not cooked: not quite. Which is a shame, because there’s a lot to explore in Peppa Pig: World Adventures, and while the game feels paradoxically more constrained as it goes global, it’s also an experience that had our four-year old jumping up and down on the sofa, singing that flipping theme tune all day. 

On the face of it, Peppa Pig: World Adventures looks the part, immersing your little one in their beloved world from the TV show with loads of countries to visit. But then the black screens appear. And the aural scrapings. Oh the scrapings. And the inexplicable loading times. And the curious audio mix which buries the dialogue. And the strange appearing and disappearing characters. So on the flip-side of the face of it, it's time to bring home the bacon and NOT Peppa Pig: World Adventures.

Peppa also likes to constantly call out what you should be doing, and this will play over anything anyone else is saying, giving you double audio. I would say that this double audio error happens more often than not. The only time it isn’t present is in cutscenes. It has subtitles so I tried to play with the volume off, but as this is aimed at non-readers they will really struggle with it.
