Fenimore Fillmore goes on to rescue an old salesman from being attacked by thieves, but it is also he who accidentally brings the old man to his death by passing his hair lotion. Just a few minutes before his death, the street vendor revealed that he owned one of the three skulls that unlock the Toltec treasure.

Fenimore seizes the skull, but is then attacked by thieves and passes out, and the skull ends up in the hands of thieves. When he returns to himself, he sets out to retrieve the three skulls and dig up the treasure himself. And, of course, along with Fenimore, other people are looking for these skulls ...
