Twenty light-years from the AR-K space station is the planet Valer, populated by the quiet Valerians. After years of war, invaders, the terrible Cardesians dominate its inhabitants with an iron fist, depriving them of their freedom and their beloved apple pie. The evil Cardesians try to crush any attempt to resist, but the Valerian Frank F.
