The game takes place on a peaceful island in the middle of the ocean called IslaBomba. The island is ruled by King Nasty, a tyrant king who wants to bombard the lands of its inhabitants to build a paddle court, a go-kart circuit, a bowling alley and other things that King Nasty believes are vital to the kingdom.

Your mission is to throw the King Nasty bombs at different substances, such as water or quicksand, before the fuse is consumed. To do so, you will take control of three animals at the same time, each with unique characteristics and abilities.
