Mad Mix is a variant of the classic Pac-Man, with the typical bird's eye view for each level and the pills you must eat to move to the next levels. Navigating the labyrinths in which you are trapped, you must get food while avoiding ghosts.

As a Pac-Man variant, there are some changes that differentiate it. Some levels offer transformational powers. These include becoming a hippopotamus - which allows you to step on the ghosts - or a vacuum cleaner, to clean the tablets corrupted by enemies. On some levels, you can also convert the protagonist into a spaceship or tank for a brief period of time, to shoot at the enemies.
