Melbits World is a great multiplayer game for people of all ages who have access to an iOS or Android device. Sure, the game gets a bit frustrating and difficult as you move throughout the various levels, but that’s the fun of it! If you liked stressful, yet entertaining, games such as Overcooked 2 then you’ll love Melbits World. The fact you can even customise your own Melbit before you begin playing is a small feature which makes the game more interactive and relatable as you can unlock new features to represent yourself in-game. This also gives you a reason to save the Melbits – it’s your best buddy now, don’t let your mate push him off the world and to its death!

Melbits World is the cutest game that I've ever played. Not only that, it's also impressively challenging and a fantastic co-op experience for up to 4 players. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys local multiplayer with friends.

Melbits World is a charming puzzle-solver for party-time. With the power of PlayLink, you will overcome obstacles with up to three friends by using cell phones and tablets to control bridges, boxes, barriers, and beyond. While some of obstacles taking advantage of motion controls can be a bit sluggish, this approach of controls means that no one is left out of the party. Melbits World is an all-ages romp of madcap mayhem for all skill levels which places a high priority on player communication.

Puede que su estilo y el hecho de pertenecer al grupo de PlayLink aparte a jugadores más “veteranos” y haga que estos lo miren con desdén. Comprensible dado que no son el público al que el juego apunta, pero es una lástima, pues Melbits World puede ofrecer mucha diversión.

Melbot Studio, nos trae Melbits World, un juego de puzles de la línea de juegos PlayLink, con la que nos promete pasar unos muy buenos ratos con nuestra familia o amigos a través de una aplicación que nos bajaremos en nuestros teléfonos móviles, mientras intentamos hacer pasar por los distintos escenarios a estas criaturas tan simpáticas antes de que se nos termine el tiempo o alguno de los enemigos nos arrebate algún Melbit. Junto a un apartado gráfico muy colorido y simpático y un apartado sonoro muy bien elaborado.

A nivel gráfico y sonoro Melbits es un título correcto pero en lo jugable, el juego creado por Melbots logra hacernos pasar muy buenos ratos mientras colaboramos entre nosotros gracias a la acertada implementación del sistema PlayLink que se adapta como un guante a un juego que sin duda es serio candidato a ocupar muchas tardes de juego familiares.

En conclusión, Melbits World es una excusa perfecta para poder interaccionar entre los diferentes miembros de la familia o amigos (en especial con los mas pequeños). La mecánica es bastante simple, con lo que no será difícil ir superando los diferentes niveles del juego. Aunque es evidente su enfoque infantil, cualquier persona podrá estar entretenida durante horas  jugando en equipo.

Melbits World uses PlayLink to its current full potential, incorporating the touch screen of tablets to great effect. Its cute world and phone-ready puzzles are perfect for kids around the age of 8, but anyone who is sucked into playing with them will find themselves bored after a few stages. The most puzzle-obsessed of gamers should set their sights on something a bit more complicated and adult.

With the right friends, Melbits World is a cute and clever exercise in collaboration and coordination that offers more than just a gimmicky control system and some sweet presentation but the very young and the jaded old might not get much from it and solo players aren't catered for at all.

Melbits World speel je met minimaal twee man, maar bij voorkeur met vier. De levels zijn naarmate je verder komt erg complex en dus is goede timing, coördinatie en efficiënt samenspel van belang. Als iedereen zijn of haar rol vervult, dan kan het voor erg veel plezier zorgen. Met een goede replay waarde is dit één van de leukste PlayLink games die er te krijgen is, maar dit komt wel met twee nadelen. Zo is het gebrek van level selectie een groot gemis, want hierdoor ben je verplicht om eerdere levels opnieuw te doorlopen. Ook al heb je die volledig uitgespeeld. Verder zijn de besturingselementen met de gyroscoop van je telefoon niet nauwkeurig genoeg, waardoor je regelmatig de mist in gaat omdat de registratie niet goed genoeg werkt. Dat levert frustratie op, maar gelukkig wordt dat overschaduwd door het plezier dat Melbits World je te bieden heeft.

It is a fun game for sure. It is a good party game, especially when there are kids who want to play or there is a person that is hesitant about video games. The bright colors and overflowing cuteness are really entertaining, but the lack of single player altogether and general lack of content leaves this game feeling like those big chocolate bunnies from Easter, cute and tasty, but unfortunately hollow.

Melbits World is a nice attempt at creating a fun, simple puzzle game suited to PlayLink's smartphone functionality. Its visual style is very easy on the eye, while the basic, communication-based gameplay means it's bound to be a good family game. The PlayLink initiative may not have been as popular as Sony may have hoped, but Melbot Studios' title shows that there's plenty left to explore when it comes to smartphone controlled gaming.

Melbits World isn’t entirely bad, but it does poorly target its demographic and there was little to no need for it to be a PlayLink title. I honestly haven’t thought about PlayLink since Hidden Agenda dropped at the end of 2017. And after playing Melbits World, ignorance may have been bliss.
