Naiad nos ha parecido un juego perfecto. Es ideal para relajarse, jugar con tranquilidad y simplemente inhibirse del exterior. Tienes que dejarte fluir, el título lo deja claro desde un principio y, así ha sido. Pese a contar con esos niveles divididos en episodios, hemos decidido disfrutarlo prácticamente «del tirón», aunque creemos que una de las mejores formas de disfrutarlo es dedicarle durante unos días ese ratito que se merece.

NAIAD es una brillante aventura de exploración y acertijos que integra de manera magistral su narrativa con sus mecánicas jugables que nos incentiva a nadar y descubrir su mundo a nuestro ritmo sin presiones mientras nos comparte su poderoso mensaje de respeto a la naturaleza.

Un juego que vive de su jugabilidad relajante y pausada, su estética preciosista, y de su mensaje sobre la importancia de preservar el medio ambiente. Y es que uno no puede evitar sentirme apaciguado y lleno de felicidad al acabar esta experiencia, como si el río que hemos recorrido hubiera echo de nuestros pensamiento y sentidos casi un reinicio y una entrada en conciencia que no nos veíamos venir.

Naiad is a relaxing, soothing game that will swim warm circles around your heart if you let it. It’s an extremely satisfying game to just explore at your own pace, with the only frustrations coming from my own completionist urges and some design decisions that feel like they are going against the stream of such a playthrough. The gorgeous visuals and enchanting music alone makes this a recommended play. The fact that it actually calms down my children is a bonus side-effect!

Naiad makes a brilliant point, in other words, and does it very effectively. Deep in the later levels I properly yearned for the early game, where the waters were blue and there were ducklings that needed me to show them the way home. Even late on, Naiad's still interesting and glorious to move through - there's trash in the water, but those currents still work their magic. But I think I admire it more for being willing to frustrate me a little, just to remind me that there are real things at stake, and the world of swimming, outside my local pool and my weekly lessons, is caught up in all this stuff too.

These negatives are outweighed by the sheer beauty of the title thanks to the incredible use of colour, as well as a relaxing, whimsical soundtrack and sound design. Taken as a whole, Naiad is a title with incredible art and sound as well as something to say, even if the gameplay isn’t always firing on that same level.

NAIAD vive de todas esas experiencias, dotando de libertad al jugador y llevándolos a su terreno para relajarse en un mundo onírico lleno de sensaciones. Un mensaje sobre la preservación natural bastante directo pero dando ese pequeño toque de juego relajante para explorar al gusto del jugador. Una pequeña joya indie de las que poco abundan y que se merecen un gran apoyo por distanciarse de lo ya visto hasta ahora, siendo una obra desarrollada con mucho amor y cariño.

Naiad es uno de los mejores títulos de 2024; una experiencia impactante y necesaria de conocer. Es un atisbo de belleza entre la oscuridad de nuestros días, un lugar al que acudir cuando necesites un abrazo cálido de invierno, es una forma de vida.

Naiad es un título que me ha sorprendido mucho. Ha conseguido una finura tan guay, tan bien hecha, que no puedo hacer otra cosa que recomendarlo.

Naiad no nos propone retos a superar, solo quiere que fluyamos a través del río ayudando a los diferentes animales que nos encontremos, con un gameplay y un diseño de niveles sencillo, pero entretenido. Es un juego con el que relajarnos durante un par de horitas con un viaje a través de un gran río hacia el océano.

Después de realizar este análisis, Naiad es un juego que te hace pensar, reflexionar y llorar. Es un juego muy personal donde cada jugador va interpretar cada detalle acorde a sus experiencias personales. Para mí, Naiad es un antes y un después en cómo se puede transmitir tanta emoción y cariño en un videojuego y un soplo de aire fresco ante el bombardeo constante de videojuegos día tras día. Como jugadores, deberíamos exigir menos cantidad y mayor calidad, los videojuegos son arte.
