Rocko's Quest is a 3D action platform game, in which the player controls Rocko - a great barbarian whose girlfriend was kidnapped by monsters. Rocko does not doubt - through swamps, mountains, caves and dark castles, he will do everything necessary to rescue her, slaughtering creatures of evil in his path.

Rocko starts with a simple sword (although he is also very skilled fighting with his fists), but he can acquire additional weapons by disarming his opponents and brandishing the ones they used against him - which mostly include melee weapons, but also some to distance, like an arc. You will also get healing items and power-ups that increase Rocko's attack power.
