Rocko smash, Rocko kill, Rocko save pretty lady. These are pretty much the only thoughts going through the mind of the hero in Rocko's Quest. As the barbarian, you will have to travel across the land looking for ogres to fight and also for Rocko's girlfriend in this action-packed platformer. As I have said a couple of times now, if you can get used to the controls, you won't have very many problems in Rocko's Quest. It is a pretty entertaining game, but you will have to be ready to invest some time into it in order to get used to the controls.

En definitiva, un juego recomendado a los amantes de la acción y las plataformas, pero cuyo mayor inconveniente es su dificultad. Un buen trabajo de revistronic.

A simple platformer that doesn’t stand out in any regard. The constant platform jumping grows tiresome very quickly, and the bare-bones combat system is pretty boring.

Während die Prügeleien dank abwechslungsreich agierender Gegner richtig Spaß bereiten, sorgen die Sprung- und Ausweicheinlagen für Frust pur: Da macht die Steuerung Mucken, es gibt unfaire Stellen am laufenden Band, und zu allem Überfluss dürfen Sie den Spielstand zwischendurch nicht sichern. Schade – hübsche Grafiken und vor allem die Gegneranimationen sorgen eigentlich für viel Stimmung.

Budget games-blech.

From a basic story line, to a highly simplistic control system, to graphics that really appear dated, there isn’t much here justifying even its $20 cost. Save your money.

Overly simplistic gameplay, repetitive jumping puzzles, and all-in-all monotony. 

Egal ob Grafik, Sound oder Steuerung. In allen Belangen bewegt sich Grouch nur knapp oberhalb der Schmerzgrenze. Bei Freunden des schlechten Geschmacks sorgen lediglich die Anleihen an Die Ritter der Kokosnuss für Heiterkeit. Ihre Gegner greifen Sie nämlich selst dann noch im Kriechgang an, wenn Sie ihnen bereits Arme und Beine abgeschlagen haben.

Bei ein paar Hüpfeinlagen, dem einfachen Umgang mit Gegenständen und dem Umlegen von Schaltern kann der unterbelichtete Kraftprotz geistig gerade noch mithalten. Armseliges Schauspiel!
