Oh My Godheads is a game that I`m really enjoying my time with, and even more so, I`ve been quite surprised at how much I`ve enjoyed it. Even playing on my own with CPU players I`m getting a good challenge, and if you play with friends locally then you`re going to get an even better one. It doesn’t offer anything online as such and is solely down to local co-op, but that isn’t a bad thing. I wouldn’t have wanted to see a game ruined if it launched with a bad online experience as it`d result in a negative aspect for the game, but Titutech have done a fantastic job with Oh My Godheads, and I`m really enjoying my time with it. I hope it does well when it launches because to be quite honest with you, they deserve it.

Avec son design cartoon, son propos déjanté et sa prise en main immédiate, Oh My Godheads ! est taillé pour des sessions de jeu courtes mais intenses, posé sur le canapé avec quelques amis. Si l'on doute de la capacité du jeu à nous occuper des heures durant, le fun est suffisamment instantané pour garantir pas mal de bonne humeur et c'est déjà suffisant. Espérons que Titutitech parvienne à ajouter des modes de jeu plus diversifiés afin de prolonger l'expérience au delà de quelques parties de temps en temps. Oh My Godheads is a really enjoyable couch multiplayer game, which takes some existing ideas and adds new twists to it. It’s not perfect by any means, but whatever flaws it has is easy overlooked by how much fun it is to play with friends.

There is a simplicity to Oh My Godheads that works with most of the game revolving around similar objectives. The chaos that can occur when two teams clash and fight it out to carry a Godhead to a goal is what generates the fast-paced excitement the game fully captures. This fun nature is further compounded by the use of a hilarious arsenal of items that mix up the gameplay in different ways. There is a hectic and unique side to the game that could look intimidating yet people will be able pick up and play straight away which is ideal for a sofa/couch based multiplayer game. If you’re looking for something quick and fun to play with family or friends over the holiday season look no further.

It’s a shame that there are no online gameplay options – that, I feel, would make Oh My Godheads a commercial hit – but even just as a local multiplayer only game it deserves success. Oh my Godheads is without a doubt one of the most original, polished, balanced, and entertaining local multiplayer games I’ve played all year, and so if you’re the type of person that has friends around on a regular basis for some gaming action, it deserves your attention.

Dans Oh My Godheads, le maître mot est le fun avant tout. En solo, le jeu n’a pas vraiment d’intérêt. Par contre, si vous êtes du genre à vous éclater entre amis ou en famille sur votre canapé, ce jeu devrait vous satisfaire et vous promet de bonnes tranches de rigolades. Reste maintenant à voir si les développeurs vont continuer à suivre le jeu et à ajouter de nouvelles cartes, personnages ou de nouvelles têtes de Dieu. Si le multijoueur local n’est pas votre credo, vous pouvez passer votre chemin, il n’y a rien à voir !

The one critique I would make is the limited game controls. To begin, there is only multiplayer gameplay, and you can only play with other people by using the same laptop, not other people connected to the online server. Also, the second player controls are mostly on the number pad, which is not included on a lot of laptops. This severely reduces the number of people who can play Oh My Godheads. Some solutions to this may be including a single player version that lets you fight computer-generated enemies, or changing the controls of the second player to keys that appear on more laptops. Besides that, though, Oh My Godheads is a rollicking joy ride of fresh challenges and visually appealing design that has the potential for enormous popularity.

Oh My Godheads is a tough game to call, while we've scored it 8/10, those looking for only a single player title will be best avoiding it, however anyone playing reguarly with friends at home will find Godheads one of the best couch co-op / multiplayer games.

Sadly there's no online multiplayer gameplay meaning Godheads will certainly be loved, but only by a limited fanbase.

A fun take on a classic format, great to play with friends—hectic and unique, but easy to understand and play.

A sometimes limited but deliciously offbeat affair, Oh My Godheads joins the ever expanding roster of couch based multiplayer efforts on PS4 and can easily be recommended to those who can get the mates and the corresponding number of snacks/drinks in.

Oh My Godheads es un título para jugar en compañía. Nos ofrece varios modos, pero todos se caracterizan por su simplicidad y corta duración. Le falta juego en línea y no destaca en juego individual, pero asegura unas buenas risas (y pequeñas competiciones) entre colegas.

Oh My Godheads is a strong title that's sure to entice couch coop fans. The absence of a single player experience and lack of online play coupled with completely incompetent AI does limit the game, unfortunately.

Su punto fuerte es la jugabilidad que nos ofrece y la diversión que asegura. Pero por otro lado en cuanto al sonido se hará bastante repetitivo y los gráficos son propios de un Indie, asique tampoco es que se sean espectaculares, pero es lo propio en estos juegos.

Oh my Godheads es otro título más basado en el multijugador local. Son muchos ya los juegos que hemos recibido durante los últimos tiempos centrados en este estilo, con lo que la competencia es bastante elevada. Sin embargo, el juego de Titutitech tiene suficiente personalidad propia como para hacerse un hueco entre tanto título, gracias a la diversión que aportan las habilidades de las cabezas que tenemos que transportar. Esto da lugar a partidas muy divertidas, especialmente pensadas para jugar con amigos. Sin embargo, tampoco es oro todo lo que reluce. Toda la diversión que podemos tener con amigos se diluye bastante si lo jugamos en solitario –con una IA que flojea bastante, todo sea dicho-, donde la cosa pierde fuelle. Además, la oferta de modos de juego no es muy amplia ni tampoco los coleccionables o la sensación de progreso invitan a jugar demasiadas horas. Una pena, además, que no se haya implementado un modo online que, sin duda, habría aumentado la calificación final.

Oh My Godheads is fun, bright, colourful and zany, but it’s somewhat let down by repetitive play, a lack of content, and no online support. The fact that you only get two out of five modes with the actual godheads is a kick to the teeth, especially when those game modes are the best out of the lot due to the innovation and tense fields of play. It’s certainly a dish best served with your friends and family, but for those that don’t have immediate access to those, the single player components of the game leaves a lot to be desired. It’s fair to say that this could have been much more than what it is – despite the clever and colourful design.

It can certainly be a fun game if you have a group of local friends that want a party brawler, but other than that it feels quite empty. The map selection is fantastic and I'd love to see that art style along with the backdrop here for perhaps a different sort of title. The multiplayer felt competitive whether you had real people or the AI to battle, but online multiplayer would have been appreciated considering the era we're in. The objectives offer a decent variety and it shines when the god heads are involved since they directly influence the battle. It just felt light with overall content and could only be good in small bursts. Oh My Godheads can be a blast, it just doesn't have any sort of lengthy weight to it. 

En Oh My Godheads tenemos la fórmula de un buen juego con unas mecánicas que funcionan realmente bien, un apartado gráfico y sonoro sencillo y a la vez desenfado, pero que a la hora de ejecutar todo su conjunto notamos la falta de ambición por parte de los desarrolladores, así como una total ausencia de un modo online, que le sentaría a las mil maravillas, además de ciertos problemas en los controles. Pero que pese a todo resulta divertido sobre todo con amigos en tu propia casa.

Un party games áspero, que busca la diversión rápida pero que pierde fuelle con su esquemático planteamiento y sus faltas de ideas.

Oh My Godheads is a 1-4 player, fast paced brawler based around massive heads of mythological deities which are out to get you. While it’s a lot of fun with friends, a lack of depth and poor AI mean it’s not so much fun without any.

Thanks to half the game not utilizing the Godheads, that half is relegated into a standard couch experience. Even when the gimmick is brought in full force, it has a tendency to feel more obnoxious than fun. Fans of arena style titles, but not those who like a lot of depth, will probably find something of value in Oh My Godheads' digital battlefields. However, this feels more like a base game, for which the developer can build upon later. It feels surprisingly empty, and in the hallowed halls of local multiplayer, like it's just too plain and bland overall - which is sad, because the first couple of hours are actually pretty fun.

Oh My Godheads offers a fun gaming experience for an hour or two at best. Having timed one session, it took just over 16 minutes to play every multiplayer game once, with the most enjoyable ones strangely being those not involving the Godheads. Had this game been priced accordingly I could easily recommend it, but with what you get and the price at £10.99, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for a local multiplayer fix before considering Oh My Godheads.

Oh My Godheads has an exciting premise that we really liked, as well as some charming visuals, but in the end that just wasn't enough. This game fell flat for us, which is a shame, really, since we wanted to like it.

While Oh My Godheads may be fun with friends at a party, it just loses all of its value when it comes to playing against the AI. With the lack of any online multiplayer or real single player, this game loses all of its replay value in a matter of hours.
