Super Star Path nails the mixing of space shooter, roguelike, and puzzle genres in a way I didn't even know I wanted. Sadly, the whole experience is over within an hour. But at a measly three dollars, I find it hard to complain -- though it did leave me wanting more. If that's the only complaint I had with the game, it is easily recommendable. I just hope we get to see more space shooter puzzlers in the future! Read review

It’s not a long or complex game, and it is reflected in the price – £1.99 at the time of publication. Apart from the six stages, there isn’t much more to the game. Each level has a boss which fights in a ‘bullet hell’ style, in which the best way to fight the boss is to focus on avoiding the projectiles rather than shooting at the enemy. These are fun, if not a little repetitive by the end. Dya Games has succeeded in making a game that is exactly what they set out to make, a simple shooter with puzzlelike elements. It’s a lot of fun for what it is, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap afternoon of fun. Read review
